In 2008 I stood on the stage of my home church and shared my story. At the end of every service, a line would form that reached the back of the church. Nearly every single person leaned in and whispered, "You're the first person I'm telling this..."

It happened every time, at every venue, in every country. I'd rip open a Band-Aid and then leave — with people bleeding and no one knowing what to do next. That's when I realized the speaking wasn't enough. Churches needed to be prepared before I took the stage.

That's the work I'm most passionate about.

The Anxiety Workshop

Carla offers a practical, faith-integrated workshop on anxiety designed for women's groups and church settings. Already delivered at churches in the Fort Wayne area, this workshop helps women understand what anxiety actually is, why their body responds the way it does, and what tools they can reach for. Church Consulting

My passion is helping equip churches to come alongside the hurting — those who are brave enough to say their story out loud. Church should be the one place people feel safe enough to be vulnerable, and I'm here to help your church become that place.
